Plant-to-Cloud Pipelines
I design the Nexus between machine data and decision-making. Using MQTT and OPC UA, I build telemetry paths that scale to cloud and analytics — with data quality, lineage, and security as first-class requirements.
Industrial Networking
Stable OT starts with boring excellence: segmentation, routing, and predictable traffic. I build and troubleshoot industrial networks (often Linux-heavy at the edges) so the process stays stable and outages don’t cascade.
Troubleshooting
When production systems fail, I isolate root cause fast. I use Python, packet analysis, and protocol-level debugging to fix broken handshakes, overloaded gateways, and “it works in theory” integrations — without guesswork.
On-Site Commissioning
Hands-on on-site integration for machines and systems. I join your team worldwide to support FAT/SAT, cutovers, commissioning, and handover — where hardware, software, and humans meet reality.
Typically engaged for project-based delivery: rapid interventions or longer on-site engagements with clear handover.
About
I work at the intersection of IT/OT, data, networks, hardware and security. This is where industrial systems prove themselves in practice, or fail under pressure. It is also where I am most at home.
Complex challenges rarely fit within a single discipline. That is why I always take a broader view, from signals on the shop floor and systems close to the installation, to network behavior and complex international data pipelines in production and supply chain environments. Problems rarely originate in one place. Solutions do not either.
I enjoy working on stalled challenges. Restoring systems and getting them back on track gives me genuine satisfaction.
My strength lies in connecting technical depth with real-world and human context. With over 20 years of experience in software development, a solid networking foundation at Cisco CCNA level, and a background in electrical engineering up to 3×80A, I connect hardware, software and the people who work with them. I have worked on end-to-end logistics and e-commerce ecosystems where production in China was seamlessly integrated with financial governance and compliance requirements for markets in the US and Europe. I have also developed solutions in the energy sector, including de-icing systems for power plants, and worked on data migrations from legacy to modern systems. In addition, I have also worked with prototyping for startups and academic projects.
I enjoy traveling and prefer working on-site, where systems truly come to life and important nuances become visible that are easily missed remotely. Thanks to my international experience, I move comfortably between different cultures, organizational structures and decision-making styles. I ensure that technical solutions not only work on paper, but also fit the operational and human context on site, whether this involves business-critical energy infrastructure or securing data flows for global trade through hubs such as Hong Kong and Singapore.
My approach is calm and pragmatic: diagnosis, design, implementation, stabilization and handover. I leave behind clear documentation and shared understanding, enabling teams to continue independently and with confidence. I work in accordance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443, where security is an integral part of the system from the outset and never an afterthought.
